Where to begin? Over the holiday weekend we got to be a part of two weddings. Saturday was Justin and Amanda’s reception at the Frankfort Civic Center and Sunday was Derek and Erin’s reception at the Conrad-Caldwell House. Both great venues!

Here’s a couple photos from Justin & Amanda’s wedding. We changed our layout just a teeny tiny bit, adding a white border all the way around the photo. Seems minor, but trust me, in a side-by-side comparison, it makes a difference!

Here’s Justin and Amanda. Justin is wearing our brand new viking helmet, which is clearly everyone’s new favorite prop! Amanda has the captain’s hat…. a classic!

And here’s a group shot from the reception. We love showing off how many people can squeeze into the booth!

Some exciting news from Derek and Erin’s reception… their guests had the most photo booth sessions EVER! 150 photos in 4 hours! Here are a few favorites, and there’s that new viking hat again!

And, the happy couple…

We have a wedding this Saturday at The Henry Clay. After that, we’ll be on a bit of a hiatus. We’re off the rest of July for some much needed time off. There will be visits from family, visits to family, and lots of work on our 2 new photo booths! So, it may not be too much of a vacation, but we should be able to get a lot accomplished! We’re really looking forward to debuting our new booth in the fall.

We’re back into the swing of things after five days in DC! It was the first time either of us had visited the city, and even though we saw so much we feel like there is at least twice as much that we missed! We took several walks around the Tidal Basin to see the Washington Monument and the Jefferson Memorial framed by all of the cherry blossoms- we were lucky enough to be there when they were in their peak! We were there during National Cherry Blossom Festival, so we even got to enjoy some fireworks on Saturday night!

We went to the Air and Space Museum, the American History Museum, the Natural History Museum, and the National Art Gallery. We were lucky enough to get a private tour of the Capitol from Marissa, one of Congressman Yarmuth’s interns. The last day of the trip we visited the National Archives which was definitely a highlight of our trip. Not only did we see the Bill of Rights, Declaration of Independence, and the Constitution, but the Public Vaults have many original letters and writings from many prominent people in America’s history.

Another highlight was peddling our way around the Tidal Basin in a peddle boat! Neither of us had either been in a peddle boat before, so that was a fun experience for us, and again, the beautiful cherry blossoms and monuments we great!

It’s back to business now that we’re home! Our wedding season kicks off this weekend with a wedding Friday night and another on Saturday night. Stay tuned for posts on those weddings next week! In the mean time, here’s a few of the hundreds of photos from our trip….
